Bloomingdale Little League (BLL) is proud to announce its SECOND
For those who are not familiar with what Challenger Baseball is, it is an official Little League division that was created for children and young adults with special needs. Challenger division is played on a typical baseball diamond and offers different levels of play. The current BLL Challenger division plays using t-based hitting and some coach pitching for more experienced players. Every player plays defense and teams can range from 12 to 15 players per team. Last season we had two awesome teams and we hope to double or triple that this year. The following information will cover who is eligible for play and what will be required of the parent
or guardian to get them registered:
Who can play:
Players from 6-18 (or 21 if still enrolled in High School) are eligible to play in the Challenger division.
When do you register:
Feb 9th 6:30-8pm
Feb 11th 6:30-8pm
Feb 16th 6:30-8pm
Feb18th 6:30-8pm
Where do you register:
Bloomingdale Little League Civic Center
2215 Bloomingdale Ave, Valrico FL.
What do you need at registration:
Parents or guardians will need to bring their child’s birth certificate and a copy of their child’s current IEP.
